What is an eStatement?
- An eStatement is an electronic version of your periodic statement. JCB eStatements contain the same information as your paper statement, in the same format and is presented as an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file that you can view, print or save at your convenience.
How do I view my eStatements and cancelled checks?
- Log in to eStatements.
- The Welcome Screen will display a list of your enrolled accounts in the Documents column. Any unviewed statement will be listed to the right of the account listing. Choose the statement you wish to view by clicking on the hyperlink designated for that statement period.
- Your statement will load with the Important Information tab visible. In order to view your statement, simply click the tab at the top called Statement Front. To access the disclosures and account reconciliation worksheet, click Statement Back.
- Just as with printed statements, check images are the last pages of your statement. Simply scroll to the end of the statement for viewing.
- Statements are available to view and print for up to 18 months.
How much do eStatements cost?
- There is no charge for eStatements.
What types of accounts are eligible for eStatement enrollment?
- JCB eStatements are currently available for checking, savings and loan accounts.
How do I sign up for eStatements?
- Visit jcbank.com and click on the eStatements link found in the Online Access section in the lower left of the home page. Choose the option SIGN UP NOW from the eStatements login page to enroll.
After enrollment, when will I receive my first eStatement?
- JCB eStatements are available on the normal statement cycle date. For example, if your statement is normally dated the 10th of the month it will continue to cut on that cycle.
- JCB eStatements are typically available within one business day of the cycle date. You will receive an email (to the email address you provide when you enroll) notifying you when your eStatement becomes available each month.
I signed up for eStatements. Why am I still receiving paper statements?
- If verification information on your eStatements application does not match the information contained in your personal file, the application must be denied. If this were to happen, an email or hard copy letter would be delivered to you depending upon the nature of the mismatched information.
How far back can I access my eStatements?
- Each eStatement will be retained online for 18 months. You may also print the statements or download to your own system as needed.
What software do I need to view eStatements?
- Your eStatements will be delivered as an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file. To access and retain a PDF file, you need the free Adobe Reader (version 6.0 or higher).
Will eStatements have the same information as paper statements?
- Yes, your eStatement even contains your check images.
How can I change the email address that my eStatement notification is sent to?
- You may change your email address by choosing the option Email and Description from the Links section of eStatements Welcome screen.
How will I know when my eStatements are available?
- An email reminder will be sent (to the email address you provided) notifying you when your eStatement is available to view. Email notification is automatically enabled when you enroll for eStatements.
If I don’t receive or if I delete my email notification, can I still view my eStatement?
- Yes, simply log in to eStatements via the link found on the JCBank home page.
Can email notifications be sent to multiple email addresses?
- Not at this time.
Why didn’t I receive my eStatement notification for this period?
- An incorrect email address or email filter could be the issue. To confirm we have the correct email address for you, log in to eStatements and select Email and Description from the Links menu. If the email address is incorrect, please update it. If the email address is correct, your email filter may be blocking emails sent from the eStatement server. If so, please adjust your filter or junk mail settings to allow emails coming from jcbank.com. This will allow you to receive JCB eStatement notifications.
What if I want to receive paper statements again?
- You may change your statement options by contacting Customer Service at 800-204-6477, or visiting your local JCB Banking Center.
My statement is no longer available online. How do I receive a copy of my statement?
- You can request a copy of your statement by contacting Customer Service at 800-204-6477, or visiting your local JCB Banking Center.
I previously enrolled in eStatements and just opened a new account. Is that account automatically
enrolled for eStatements?
- No, you must add eStatements to your new account. To do so, simply login to eStatements. Click on the Add and Remove Accounts option in the Links section of the Welcome Screen. Type the account number to be added in appropriate account type section of the form and click the Submit button.
